A Family Run Business

Hortus is a family run business in the heart of Leicestershire. Three generations of carpentry experience are put into selecting the finest wood to design and manufacture exterior timber products. Through using high quality materials and long established techniques handed down through the family, combined with an exquisite attention to detail, we aim to become one of the finest bespoke timber manufacturers in the country.

Our workshop is onsite at the family home in the midlands and we obtain materials from the best providers in the area. We choose the materials specifically for each brief, combining the clients design and our professional knowledge, to ensure the best possible timber is selected.
